Description
Rocky and His Friends Jay Ward, Bill Scott, Rocky, and Bullwinkle Publicity Drawings Photo Prints plus Rough Drawings Group of 6 (Jay Ward, c. 1959-60). Artist Sam Clayberger (1926 - 2018) created the humorous drawings seen in this group of original vintage 8" x 10" glossy photo prints. The first two feature Jay Ward and writer/voice of Bullwinkle, Bill Scott. The first is a comic portrait of Jay (holding a glass) and Bill, while the second is of Bullwinkle and two mounted heads belonging to Bill and Jay. Yow! Two photo prints are of Sam's pensive portraits of both Rocky and Bullwinkle, and each includes the original preliminary sketches in graphite on 12 field animation paper. There are three images of Bullwinkle, and eight of Rocky. The art is in Good to Very Good condition with some handling, edge wear, and mild age-related paper toning. The photo prints are in Very Good condition with minor handlingFrom the Archive of Sam Clayberger and Michael Kadin.
