The Flintstones "Fred El Terrifico" Original Barney, Pebbles, and Bamm-Bamm Production Cel Signed by Willie Ito (Hanna-Barbera, 1964). This rare vintage production cel features Barney Rubble, Bamm-Bamm, and Pebbles from "Fred El Terrifico," the 17th episode of the fourth season of The Flintstones, originally airing on January 9, 1964. The cel showcases terrific full-body depictions of all three characters, beautifully hand-painted on 12 field acetate and signed by legendary Hanna-Barbera animator and character designer Willie Ito. Ito, born in 1934, began his career at Walt Disney Studios, contributing to classics such as Lady and the Tramp, Sleeping Beauty, and One Hundred and One Dalmatians, before becoming a key creative force during Hanna-Barbera's golden age of television animation. In "Fred El Terrifico," a vacation to Rockapulco leads Fred to play up a flamboyant persona, inadvertently attracting the attention of jewel smugglers. The cel is accompanied by a background print for visual context and comes with a Linda Jones Letter of Authenticity. Cel condition is Very Good.Auction Info
