Kevin Eastman Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection Poster Illustration Preliminary Original Art (Konami, 2022). TMNT co-creator Kevin Eastman delivers a wild, time-warping spin on the classic Super Nintendo game Turtles in Time in this jam-packed preliminary illustration. Era-spanning icons such as the Statue of Liberty, dinosaurs, the Sphinx, and the Eiffel Tower all swirl through a chaotic time portal around Raphael, Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and their nemesis Krang. This dynamic prelim led to the final artwork reproduced as a cloth poster in the limited-edition set collecting the Turtles' greatest video game hits. Created in marker on paper with an edge-to-edge image area of 17" x 11". Signed by Eastman in the lower right corner and in Excellent condition.Proceeds from the sale of this lot will benefit the Ed Asner Family Center, which offers a host of programs, classes, and therapy dedicated to promoting self-confidence in differently abled individuals.
