Description

Samm Schwartz and Marty Epp Jughead's Fantasy #2 Complete 6-Page Story "Peter Goon, Private Eye Chap. I: According To Costume" Original Art (Archie, 1960). After getting a private eye costume for a party, Jughead gets temporary amnesia and thinks he is Peter Goon (a parody of TV P.I. Peter Gunn). This is the first part of a four-part story in which Jughead plays out his P.I. fantasy and solves a mystery. The story was later reprinted in Archie Giant Series Magazine #136 (1965). Ink over graphite on Bristol board with image areas of 12" x 17.5". Slight toning, text paste-up and residue staining from missing paste-ups on the first page, tape labels in the top left, whiteout corrections, edge tears/wear on Page 1, with staining and handling wear. Overall in Very Good condition.
