David Wright Carol Day #1161 Daily Comic Strip Original Art (London Daily Mail, 1960). Carol takes a drive with Ernie along the sea and lush English countryside in this episode from the "Money Matters" story arc. Wright shows off his realistic detailing and lovely inkwork over graphite on a illustration board with an image area of 17" x 5.25". Slight toning, pinholes in the top/bottom margins, dust shadows along the top edge, marginal notes, whiteout touch-ups, corner dings, with light soiling and edge/handling wear.
