Released approximately two months before its North American counterpart, Paper Mario RPG (known as Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door outside Japan) retained the papercraft aesthetic and timing-based combat of its predecessor while expanding the story and deepening character interactions. Developed by Intelligent Systems, it followed Mario on a richly stylized quest to stop the alien X-Nauts, rescue Princess Peach, and uncover a legendary treasure sealed behind the Thousand-Year Door.Auction Info
