Description

Pokémon Moltres 146 Japanese Topsun Set PSA Trading Card Game NM-MT 8 (Topsun, 1995) Holofoil. Before being released by Wizards of the Coast in the United States, Pokémon was already a phenomenon in Japan. Topsun cards, one of the earliest examples of Pokémon characters on cards, came inside packages containing two pieces of bubble gum and two cards. The packs were used as a promotional product in Japan to see if people would collect cards with Pokémon on them. I guess we know the answer to that! The card offered here features the Fire/Flying-type Legendary Pokémon Moltres. This specific copy is part of the rare holographic inserts, which were included with the original cards starting in June of 1997. PSA has certified 4 copies earning a NM-MT 8 grade with 2 graded higher.
