Frank Frazetta - Original Movie Poster Illustration for "Yours, Mine and Ours" (1968). Proving that talent of his magnitude can work across the board, master fantasy painter Frank Frazetta turns his awesome skills to the world of entertainment, with this painted movie poster illustration for MGM. "Yours, Mine and Ours" was a screwball comedy starring Henry Fonda and Lucille Ball, both of whom are represented quite aptly in caricature by one of the most skilled draftsmen to ever pick up a brush. The colors are as fresh as they were when this was first painted and the minute details are startling. Also of note is the degree of exaggeration Frazetta uses to give this piece a feeling of burlesque, anarchy. Painted in watercolor with line work in markers the overall size is 20" x 30". All in all, a work of note and one of the few examples of Frazetta's movie poster work.Auction Info
