All-Story Weekly #272 March 31, 1917 (Munsey) Condition: VG/FN. This is one of only four copies of this issue we've ever encountered, and by far the nicest. It's also the first we've seen in over a decade. This issue includes "The Cave Man" by Edgar Rice Burroughs, part one of four. Burroughs' story is a sequel to his earlier story "The Cave Girl", and it earned this issue's cover by Clinton Pettee. This issue also features the first professionally published story by Max Brand (as Frederick Faust), "Convalescence". Tape on spine.
