Description

Fantastic Four #100 Stan Lee File Copy (Marvel, 1970) CGC VG 4.0 Cream to Off-white pages. For veteran Jack Kirby-watchers, it was a big day indeed when this anniversary issue hit the newsstands. That the "King" would stay on one title for such a run was truly surprising, given his track record. He was, of course, only half of the dynamic twosome that made this title "The World's Greatest Comic Magazine!" The other half, the peerless scripter and editor, Stan Lee, saved this copy just for you. Kirby's amazing cover, filled with more villains and superheroes than a normal comic book could contain, looks to be a higher grade than that assigned by CGC to this copy, but the back cover, with a small corner piece out, and a half-inch tear along the border, offers proof that Stan the Man did indeed refer to this milestone issue often for inspiration. Let it inspire you! Overstreet 2003 VG 4.0 value = $20.
