Peanuts - Lucy and Schroeder Publicity Cel (Bill Melendez, c. 1970s/80s). It looks like Lucy is putting her foot down with the love of her life, Schroeder, using his beloved Beethoven bust head to smash his piano! This is a rare hand-painted studio publicity 12 field cel. It was most likely used for merchandise, like for calendar pages, children's books, clothing design, consumer products, or studio publicity brochures. Great full-figure images, with sizes of 5". This terrific cel has a printed Schulz signature, and is placed on a Bill Melendez Charlie Brown production background, believed to have been painted by the great Dean Spille. Minor handling wear.
