Chester Gould - Dick Tracy Sunday Comic Strip Original Art, dated 10-26-58 (Chicago Tribune, 1958). Cuba's greatest detective, Wunbrow, always gets his man -- or woman. Presumed dead, Wunbrow miraculously survived a flood and piloted a makeshift raft to police headquarters with a skewered Miss Egghead on board. Dick Tracy and Sam Catchem pitched in to help the Cuban police force in those pre-Castro days and it's fun to see the boys operate in exotic locales. The image area of the strip is 27" x 18". Each panel of the Sunday was glued to a larger support page; otherwise the art is in Excellent condition. From the collection of Larry Doucet.Auction Info
