Description

Tales From the Crypt #46 (EC, 1955) CGC VF/NM 9.0 Off-white to white pages. Jack Davis' slobbering werewolf is looking for a midnight snack. This is the last issue of the title and had low distribution because EC was in trouble for faring badly in his testimony to the U.S. Congress regarding the sale of horror and crime comics to children. This copy has very bright colors and pages with only a couple small edge tears and an ever-so-slight dust shadow on the back cover. According to the CGC census as of this writing there are five higher-graded copies, two in 9.2 and three in 9.4. Overstreet 2002 NM 9.4 value = $525. From the collection of Bobby Harmon.
