Description
Will Eisner The Spirit Weekly Newspaper Section Complete 4-Page Story Original Art dated 9-14-1952 Group of 4 (Register and Tribune Syndicate, 1952). Prexy Filch, the scheming crook, attempts to involve young Sammy in his plan to swap the genuine Osiris jewel with a counterfeit one. But the Spirit is never far! This very rare 4-page complete story from Eisner's Spirit Sunday supplement is crafted twice-up scale in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an approximate image area of 13" x 18". On the title page, the lower tier is a Bristol section that has been mounted onto the main board. With stat paste-ups, whiteout corrections, pinholes, light handling/edge wear, some corner creasing, production staining, and foxing on some pages.
