Description
Wally Wood True Sweetheart Secrets #2 Story Page 11 Original Art (Fawcett, 1950). The last page of the story "Love's Rapture" features some lovely romance comic work by comic art legend Wally Wood. The twice-up scale page was created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 13" x 18". There are missing text corrections (two of which changed the character's name from Lila to Kitty. Panel 7 is a hand-lettered paste-up, with some glue residue around it. The text paste-up in Panel 1 is a low-rez print of a text block from a different page of this story, with amateurish text alterations to make is seem to belong on this page. The logo is a low-rez recreation and there was no logo there on the page originally. The toned board has many hand-written notes (with misspellings) that were added after-the-fact by a previous owner.
