The New Adventures of Flash Gordon Production Cel (Filmation, c. 1979). Based on the famous comic strip by Alex Raymond The New Adventures of Flash Gordon, this animated show was initially conceived as a live-action film for television but then was decided that an animated version would be less pricey. The blue-eyed titular hero is seen running in this hand-painted production cel measures 4.5" tall and is presented on a printed background for presentation purposes.
