Description

Bill Everett - Namor the Sub-Mariner Sketch Original Art (c. 1960s). In the 1960s Bill Everett returned to the Sub-Mariner, a character he created way back at the dawn of the Golden Age of comic books (Marvel Comics #1, 1939). This piece is spectacular as it shows the regal Imperious Rex, the Lady Dorma, and the Atlantean court advisor Vashi. Created in pure graphite on 8" x 10" paper, and signed in the lower right. Toned and in Very Good condition.
From the Roger Hill Collection.
