Description
John Buscema and Tom Palmer The Avengers #281 Story Page 5 Original Art (Marvel, 1987). An empathetic Captain Marvel reaches out to a standoffish Thor, reminding him the Avengers stand ready to help -- if only he'll let them in on what's troubling him. This page, also featuring the steadfast team leader Captain America, comes from the story "By Gods Betrayed!" and was created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". As a bonus, there are several inked sketches on the back. Spot staining in left margin, black dot debris and spot staining in Panel 4, production-trimmed top edge, pulled-tape abrasion on top edge, light smudging, screentone, whiteout touch-ups/corrections, blue pencil editorial marks/notes, slight toning, tape over page number paste-up, and corner/handling wear.
