Description
Garfield and Friends "Rodent Rampage" Garfield and Tyrone Production Cel Setup (Film Roman, 1990). "Garfield doesn't chase mice. In fact, there's a rumor he hasn't run since 1987." In this episode from the series Garfield and Friends, a mouse named Tyrone visits the Arbuckle household. Upon discovering that Garfield doesn't chase mice, however, he becomes uneasy and bored. In response, he tries to get the lazy Garfield to chase him! This moment from the episode "Rodent Rampage" can be found at about the 15:15 mark of the episode. This hilarious cel setup depicts Tyrone as he attempts to convince Garfield to chase him. The setup is composed of two original, hand-painted 12 field cels which have been placed atop a color print background from the show for presentation. The cels are marked in their lower right corners with T49 and G29, and the combined image of the two animals measures a substantial 9" x 5"! This fantastic setup is in Very Good condition, with just minor handling and edge wear.From the Jim Davis Collection.
