Description
Looney Tunes Spotlight Collection "Ali Baba Bunny" Daffy Duck and "Little Beau Pepé" Pepé Le Pew Limited Edition Figures Group of 2 (Warner Brothers/Goebel, 1997). Here's a superb pair of limited edition figurines featuring the screwball character, Daffy Duck from the 1957 Chuck Jones short "Ali Baba Bunny". The second figurine features the love-struck skunk Pepé Le Pew from another Chuck Jones short, "Little Beau Pepé". Both shorts were parodies of sorts with "Little Beau Pepé" being a play on the 1924 book "Beau Geste" and the nursery rhyme "Little Bo Peep" and "Ali Baba Bunny" being a very loose parody of the tale of "Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves." The porcelain sculptures measure 7.5" and 6" respectively. They come in the original boxes (which have minor storage wear) and include COAs. Figurines in Very Good condition.Auction Info
