Leslie Turner Captain Easy Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 11-29-61 (NEA, 1961). Leslie Turner, one of Texas' finer comics artist, and who took over Wash Tubbs from fellow Texan Roy Crane, makes brilliant use of shading and lighting in this daily. Ink over graphite on Craftint Duoshade board, with an image area of 16" x 4.5". Slight handling wear, marginal pinholes, and mild toning. Signed and inscribed in lower border. Otherwise, Excellent condition.From the Bobby G. Murphy Collection.
