Description
The Black Cauldron Fflewddur Fflam and Others Color Model Cel Group of 5 (Walt Disney, 1985). Old minstrel Fflewddur Fflam was locked up in the dungeon with Taran and Princess Eilonwy, and naturally joined in the search for the Black Cauldron when they escaped the Horned King's castle. Here he his in an original hand-painted, trimmed color model cel, along with similar cels featuring Dallben, Dallben's nameless cat, and King Eidilleg of the Fairfolk. One additional cel may take some explaining - it's Fflewddur Fflam after the witch Orgoch turned into a frog! The cels are all in 11" x 14" mats with openings of 9.5" x 7.5". Approximate image sizes are 4" x 10 (Fflam), 5.5" x 5.75" (Dallben, with a few small areas of paint separation), 4.75" x 6" (Cat), 4.25" x 5" (Eidilleg), and 6.25" x 2" (the Frog - the missing paint from three toes appears to have been done that way at the studio, and is not a flaw). Wow! Very Good to Fine condition with some minor handling wear.Auction Info
