Description
Mike Roy The Saint Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 4-12-50 (New York Herald-Tribune, 1950). Mr. Emil charters a boat in this episode of the dramatic strip written by Leslie Charteris, with the bold artwork by Mike Roy. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 21" x 5.75". Slight toning, taped title paste-up and tape cover-up in the top margin, signature cover-up in the last panel, editorial marks, and light smudging/handling wear. The strip has previously been folded in half, presumably to allow for mailing to the syndicate. In Very Good condition.Auction Info
