Zack Mosley Smilin' Jack Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 6-25-39 (News Syndicate Co., Inc., 1939). Smilin' Jack, the heroic aviator, is lost in the everglades, and finding him will belike looking for "a sneeze in a wind-tunnel"! And the poisoned arrows don't help either... Per Syndicate custom, the individual panels of this strip have been cut out and glued to a larger backing board, with panel extensions drawn onto the support board with an overall image area of approximately 25" x 17". There is some tape, overall paper toning, foxing, soiling, handling wear, and adhesive staining. In Good condition.Auction Info
