Description

Irv Novick and Dick Giordano Batman #257 Robin Story Page 3 Original Art (DC, 1974). A chaotic storm of birds descends on a crowd, creating the perfect distraction for the kidnapping of a child prince in this dynamic, action-packed page starring Robin in every panel. The issue pits Batman's winged ward against one of his most bird-brained enemies, as Robin goes feather-to-feather with the Penguin -- the fowl mastermind behind the prince-napping. Rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Light overall toning, with trimmed edges, a taped-on page number paste-up, adhesive-stained tape in the margins, a stripped-in text correction in Panel 2, whiteout corrections, a few small stains, and handling wear. In Very Good condition.
From the Irv Novick Family Collection.
