Description

Harold Gray Little Orphan Annie Daily Comic Strips Original Art 2 Consecutive (Chicago Tribune, 1934). Annie and Daddy Warbucks are some of the most famous characters from this long-running much-beloved strip. And they are in every panel of these two dailies, along with Sandy the dog in a couple of panels! The series was already a decade old at this point, but this is from a prime period of popularity for the big-eyed orphan. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 19.75" x 5.5" each. The strips have been folded down the center through Panel 2 of each. They are also affixed directly to a mat backing board and matted to 25" x 16.75". Toned and in Very Good condition.
