Description
Joe Edwards - Charley 1-Page Complete Story Original Art and Production Stat Group of 2 (Archie, 1977/1979). Included here is: a half-page Charley gag by Joe Edwards titled "A Laff Spell!" and a "Archie's Gag Bag" stat featuring the art of Bob Montana, from Life with Archie #180 (1977); and a full stat page featuring a Charley half-pager featuring the art of Edwards titled "Stringing Her Along" and a "Mr. Weatherbee Gag Bag" featuring Montana art. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". All the elements are paste-up on support board with full image areas of 10" x 15". Edwards original gag was rendered in ink over blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 7.5". Toning, tape adhesive staining on the top/bottom edges, staining and a small tear on the lower right edge of the L.W.A. #180 Charley gag, whiteout corrections, and handling wear.
