Description
Bill Dyer "Breakfast with Ike!" Editorial Comic Strip Original Art (1954). This is a report on a breakfast event with the members of the National Cartoonist Society and President Eisenhower. There are caricatures of Walt Kelly, Rube Goldberg, and of course, Ike himself. Dated 6-24-54. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 15.25" x 19.5". Signed/dated in the lower right. The board is toned, with a missing text correction paste-up. Toned and in Very Good condition.Auction Info
