Dani Moonstar, in her Asgardian Valkyrie form atop Brightwind, battles with a Shadow King-possessed Gambit on this story page that saw the Cheyenne mutant on a mission across time and space, hitting the appropriate nostalgic moments and characters in celebration of writer Chris Claremont's 40th anniversary with Marvel Comics. Ink and white paint over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15.25".
