Description

Moose Hunters Goofy Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1937). Goofy and Donald Duck get more than they bargained for when they dress up as a female moose to try a lure out a moose to hunt. Two bull moose become enamored with the fake female moose, and they engage in a fierce battle with each other. This image depicts Goofy in the moose costume as he falls from a tree that he climbed to try escape the battle of the two moose. This moment can be found at about the 7:01 mark of the 1937 short Moose Hunters. This great image of Goofy tangled in the costume measures about 8" x 5". The drawing is created with graphite and orange pencil on 12 field, 5-peghole animation paper. The page is numbered in its lower right corner with 41. This excellent drawing is in Good condition, with some handling and edge wear, and a rectangular section of paper toning, likely due to a prior framing or matting.
