Description
Garfield and Friends "Knights and Daze" Garfield with Sandwich Production Cel Setup (Film Roman, 1993). "Coming up, Boulder battles cartoonist Jon Arbuckle!" In this episode of Garfield and Friends, Garfield grabs a snack to watch television with Odie - until he discovers that Jon has unwittingly been signed up for a televised fight with a knight! This moment can be found at about the 4:57 mark of the episode "Knights and Daze". This classic cel features Garfield as he prepares to eat the sandwich he made for himself, which he then gulps down in one bite. The fantastic 4.5" x 5" image is hand-painted on a 12 field production cel, and the cel is marked in its lower corner with G1. The cel has been placed atop a color print background for presentation. What an iconic image of Garfield! This great piece is in Good to Very Good condition, with just minor edge wear and handling and some extremely small areas of paint chipping on the sandwich.From the Jim Davis Collection.
