G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero Color Key Paintings Group of 3 (Marvel/Sunbow, c. 1980s). We have three fantastic original color key background paintings from the iconic action series G. I. Joe. The eye-catching paintings, rendered in gouache on illustration board, were used in the production of the series to establish an overall look for the final backgrounds. First, we get a great image of one of Cobra's hangars measuring an image size of 11" x 7.5" titled "Interior Cobra Temple: Staging Area" in the bottom edge. Also presented is a fabulous 9.75" x 7" image of one of Cobra's artifacts, titled " Psi. Amplifier in Cobra Base" on the bottom edge of the board. The last painting displays an incredibly detailed image of an aerial base with an image size of 11" x 6.75". The illustration of the Cobra artifact has some staples in the top left corner. The painting shows light surface scuffing, light toning, and handling wear from production. The overall condition is Very Good.Auction Info
