Description

Irv Novick and Joe Giella Superman Album #11 Story Page 25 Original Art (DC/Egmont Ehapa, 1984). An international Superman rarity produced exclusively for the European market and unseen by U.S. readers. Solaris toys with Superman, landing a brutal blow before vanishing without a trace. Even Superman cannot see his escape, a sharp reminder that the battle is far from finished. This page from "The Sun-Stealer of Space" was rendered in ink over graphite on DC Bristol board with an approximate image area of 10" x 15". Signed by Novick in Panel 5, and again in the top margin. Light toning, blue pencil editorial marks, whiteout touch-ups, and light handling wear. In Very Good condition.
From the Irv Novick Family Collection.
