Pablo Marcos The Savage Sword of Conan #84 Unused Story Page 11 Original Art (Marvel, 1983). This unused page mirrors nearly every beat of the published Page 11 from "The Darksome Demon of Raba-Than!" as Councilman G'Sazarrh Bel Rhan gives his guards one last shot at keeping their posts by defeating their would-be replacements from the feared Brotherhood of the Falcon. Its polished finish suggests it was prepped for print, likely by Pablo Marcos, whose comic-book flair stands in intriguing contrast to Val Mayerik's more realistic final version. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10.75" x 15.25". Toning, with heavier toning on the edges, adhesive residue staining, smudging/soiling, whiteout corrections, corner creasing, and handling wear.
