Description
Edwina Dumm Cap Stubbs and Tippie Daily Comic Strips Original Art Group of 6 (George Matthew Adams Service, c. 1950s-60). Pioneering female cartoonist Edwina Dumm's wonderfully expressive line work adds warmth and humor to these six strips, dated 1-9, 1-10, 3-6, 3-9, 3-13, and 3-16. Rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol boards with image areas of 21" x 4.75". Boards are toned with minor staining, whiteout corrections and handling wear. The dailies for 1-9 and 1-10 have a stain on the back that bled through to the front on the left side of the boards. In Very Good condition.More information about Edwina Dumm.
