Description
Walt Disney Artist Winnie the Pooh Disney Children's Book Hand-Inked Illustrations and Backgrounds Group of 11 (Walt Disney, c. 1990s). Here is a collection of nine hand-inked sketches and eleven beautifully rendered background paintings from a Children's Christmas book based on the Walt Disney and A. A. Milne characters from the Hundred Acre Wood. The paintings range in sizes from 7.25" x 12" up to 10.25" x 12.5". Nine of the paintings are paired with character sketches which are hand-inked on onionskin paper. These gorgeous hand-painted backgrounds with character sketches would frame nicely in a group of miniature paintings from the Walt Disney Studios. The artwork was created using gouache on Crescent 100% Rag illustration board. These sketches and backgrounds are actual working pieces of production art and thus will show normal usage including artist notes and tape on the work, minor handling and edge wear; otherwise, condition is Very Good.Auction Info
