Garry Brown Amazing Spider-Man Annual #1 (43) Story Page 19 Original Art (Marvel, 2018). The 2018 Amazing Spider-Man Annual eschewed contemporary plotlines in favor of a trip back to the mid-1980s, presenting a story set during the black costume era -- before Peter fully understood the dangers of the symbiote. On this page, the Venom symbiote takes Peter out like a car for a joyride, sneaking off to patrol the city while Peter sleeps, unaware that the suit is controlling his body. Crafted in ink over Brown's printed blue lines on Marvel Bristol board with an image area of 9" x 14.25". Whiteout touch-ups and marginal smudging.
