Description

Brave Little Tailor Mickey Mouse and King Animation Drawing Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1938). "I swung and missed, I missed and swung! I swung again, and again, and again! They were right on top of me!" In this scene from the 1938 short Brave Little Tailor, Mickey Mouse explains to the king how he managed to kill seven flies in one blow. There's just one problem: the king thinks that Mickey is talking about killing seven giants, and he hires Mickey to get rid of a huge giant that is pestering the kingdom! In these two fantastic original animation drawings, Mickey dramatically acts out his battle with the insects in front of an intrigued king in a moment that can be seen at about the 2:40 mark of the short. These drawings are created with graphite and green and red pencil on 12 field, 5-peghole animation paper. The drawings are marked in their lower right corners with 21 and 34. The wonderful drawings are in Very Good condition, with minor edge wear and handling and some age-related toning.
