Description
Mickey's Polo Team Goofy Animation Drawing Sequence of 3 (Walt Disney, 1936). This star-studded Mickey Mouse short from 1936 features a team of four Disney characters facing off against caricatures of four real-life movie stars in a thrilling polo game! Goofy is one of Mickey's teammates, and we see him flying across the field on his horse in this sequence of three original animation drawings. These drawings feature impressively large images of the horse and rider pair as they race across the camera in a sequence that begins around the 3:55 mark of the short. One of the drawings also has extensive notes to the Ink and Paint Department. These drawings are created with graphite and colored pencils on 12 field, 5-peghole animation paper, and they are marked in their lower right corners with 202A, 220B, and 221B. The condition of these energetic drawings is Good to Very Good, with some handling and edge wear and some age-related toning.More information about Walt Disney Studios - Fab Five.
