Walt Simonson and Ernie Chan Thor Annual #7 Story Page 23 Original Art (Marvel, 1978). The Eternals step into the spotlight in this Thor annual, with Valkin and Virako giving Thor the nod to handle Thunder in a fair fight while they take on the brute force of Tutinax -- who proudly declares he's cracked the code that the Eternals are immortal, as if it weren't painfully obvious. Featuring early Walt Simonson artwork on a Thor title, a taste of the mythic energy he would later unleash in full force during his legendary run starting in 1983. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Light toning, whiteout corrections, blue pencil editorial notes/marks, production oil staining, smudging, page number and "Continued...
