Description
The Black Cauldron Eilonwy, Taran, and the Golden Pelydryn Production Cels (Walt Disney, 1985). Shortly after Taran meets Eilonwy and encounters the Golden Pelydryn for the first time, he discovers something else: a sword! These three original, hand-painted production cels depict Taran, Eilonwy, and the Golden Pelydryn moments after Taran discovers the sword, as Eilonwy inquires where he found it. The three 16 field cels are laminated, with the top cel bearing a Walt Disney seal in its lower right corner. The image of Eilonwy measures about 4.25" x 6.5", while Taran measures about 5.25" x 6" with his new sword. The cels are matted, with a matboard aperture of 13" x 8" (not including the notch cut for the seal) and an overall mat size of 18" x 14". The cels are in Good condition, with some handling and edge wear, as well as crystallization.Auction Info
