Description

John Romita Sr., Paul Reinman, and Tony Mortellaro The Amazing Spider-Man #132 Molten Man Story Page 8 Original Art (Marvel, 1974). Molten Man (Mark Raxton) emerges from the ruins of yet another risky experiment to reverse his radioactive condition -- one that triggered a fiery hotel explosion instead of the cure he hoped for. Thankfully, Daily Bugle reporter Ned Leeds arrives on the scene following a tip, managing to rescue a woman from the wreckage... only to find himself in the crosshairs of Molten Man's explosive temper. This issue marks the end of "Jazzy" John Romita Sr.'s legendary initial run on the title, which spanned nearly 100 issues, from Issue #39 through #132. Rendered in ink over blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The board is lightly toned and trimmed, with oil staining, whiteout corrections, adhesive-stained tape in the margins, a taped-on page number paste-up in the lower margin (labeled Page 14, but Story Page 8), and general handling wear. In Very Good condition.
