John Romita Sr. The Amazing Spider-Man Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 11-20-78 (Marvel/Register & Tribune Syndicate Inc., 1978). Vera Arlen, an ex-model who once tried to blackmail Spider-Man by threatening to reveal his true identity, meets a tragic end in this daily, rendered by one of the most impressive artists ever to draw our favorite web-head. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 14.5" x 4.5". Lightly toned, with stat paste-ups used for the title and credit text, a stripped-in text correction in the middle panel, and whiteout corrections.
