George Wunder Terry and the Pirates Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 9-17-71 (World Rights Reserved, 1971). Here's a daily from Wunder's long tenure as successor to Milton Caniff -- a prime example of how he established a decisive style while retaining a certain fidelity to the Caniff model. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 21.75" x 6.5". The strip is slightly toned, with light dust shadows along the edges, and soft handling wear.
