Kubert School Artists - Instructor Jam Illustration Original Art (undated). This "jam" folder was used for student attendance and given to the instructors at the beginning of class, who in turn doodled on the folder during class assignments, so the folder would be in various instructor hands throughout the day. Many different industry professionals worked as instructors at the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art, and even though we cannot verify the artists that provided these eclectic cartoons, some of the school's instructors included: The Kuberts (Joe, Adam, Andy, and Emma), Tom and Sian Mandrake, Jon Peter Buzio, Fernando Ruiz, Michael Kraiger, Kim DeMulder, Bob Hardin, Brian Buniak, Hy Eisman, Jan Duursema, and Giovanni Valetta.This chaotic artifact of someone's school days is drawn in ink over graphite on a manilla envelope measuring 12" x 9.5". A speech balloon on the back declares "The good news is we just got accepted to the Kubert School!". Folder is toned and shows significant handling and wear. Edge-to-edge art on both sides. In Very Good condition.
