Ye Olden Days Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1933). "In days of old, when knights were bold, and romance had its fling... All hail the royal bride and groom! Long live the king!" Presented is an incredibly rare original animation drawing of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse from the very last shot of the 1933 theatrical short Ye Olden Days. Directed by Burt Gillett, Ye Olden Days was released on 4/8/1933, and it is set in Europe during the Middle Ages, casting Mickey as a wandering minstrel who save the Princess Minnie from an arranged marriage. This lovely drawing is rendered in graphite, and it features the characters at 3.25" x 3.25" on the 12 field 2-peghole animation paper. The piece is numbered 67 in the lower right corner, and it shows minor handling and edge wear with age-related toning. A magnificent early image of the classic cartoon couple in medieval attire from the acclaimed classic film, The condition is Very Good.
