Description
Vogue Needlecraft Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse Pillow Cover Group of 2 (Walt Disney, c. 1930/31). Presented are two delightful and exceptionally rare pillow covers by Vogue Needlecraft featuring Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. Very difficult to find collector's items, these fantastic pieces are meticulously hand-stitched, and the image of Mickey and Minnie with the umbrella is accompanied by a hand-stitched tag label stating "No. 98 Mickey Mouse Series, Vogue Needlecraft - NY, copyright 1931 by Walt Disney Productions LTD." The image of Mickey reading a book is framed under glass with a frame size of 17" x 17", and the umbrella piece is mounted to a board and measures an overall 17" x 16.25".
