Description
Lord of Lords: Ryu Knight Amazons Production Cel and Animation Drawing (Sunrise, c. 1994-95). A group of surprised Amazons guard this lot that features a stupendous hand-painted production cel from the anime Lords of Lords: Ryu Knight, accompanied by a matching animation drawing. The 52-episode series is based on the manga by the renowned Takehiko Ito, known for also creating the manga Outlaw Star. The female guards' trio is featured, measuring an overall image size of 9.75" x 6.25" on the two-layer 12-field cel. The animation drawing shows two of the guards rendered in graphite with red ink color callouts, standing at 4.25" and 3.5". The production cel shows minor fading on the linework. A small fold crease can be seen on the drawing's bottom right corner, as well as some faint paint residue from the cel on the characters. With minor handling and edge wear from production, the lot is in Very Good condition.Auction Info
