Description

Leonard Starr Little Orphan Annie Daily Comic Strip Original Art Group of 3 (The Chicago Tribune, 1988). Characterized by equal parts adventure and humor, Leonard Starr's revival of Little Orphan Annie featured tight, slickly realistic graphics, a strong sense of design, and superb story-telling. Dates are 1-4, 12-8 and 12-10 of 1988. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board, with image areas of 12" x 4". Light toning and handling wear, and faint foxing, with image stat page-ups in the 1-4 daily that is slightly discolored. In Very Good condition.
