Description

Ron Garney - Peter Parker / Spider-Man Illustration Original Art (2007). The "split-face" motif is a classic for Spidey, depicting half the web-headed hero in his striking mask, with his human alter ego -- the ever-luckless Peter Parker -- revealed on the other side. This enduring visual has remained a requisite part of the Spider-Man canon due to it's ability to capture the heart of Spidey's story with such a simple yet powerful composition. Rob Garney presents his own take on this iconic image in this illustration, rendered in ink and marker over graphite on 8" x 10.5" art paper. Lightly toned, with a small piece missing from the lower left corner and other handling wear. Signed and dated. In Excellent condition.
